Author Visits

Assembly at Rio Del Mar Elementary

I offer elementary school author visits across Santa Cruz County, Monterey Bay Area, and San Francisco Bay Area. Câmbio Author Visits run for around 30-45 minutes and include:

  • Reading Câmbio with presentation of the book’s illustrations

  • Q&A — sharing more about the story’s origin’s and creation, and the experience of becoming an author

My aim is to inspire a sense of awe, creativity, and civic pride and provide an especially impactful experience with classes working on creative writing, environmentalism, and art-making. The visits are good for 1st-5th grade students.

Since publishing the first edition of Câmbio in 2023, I have accumulated years of experience working with students across public, private, and international schools in the US, Taiwan, and Kenya.
